The bodies of two Adironds have been found in the Catskills.
The Adironda Police Department said Tuesday afternoon the bodies of 30-year-old Adrienne and 35-year, Michael R.C. Smith were found at their home in the town of Adironde, about 35 miles east of Albany, about 50 miles north of New York City.
A search is underway for both men.
The bodies were found Tuesday morning by a family member, who found the bodies at the bottom of a shallow pond, police said.
Police are working to identify the woman.
The bodies were discovered around 1 p.m. and are not believed to have been harmed.
The New York Post first reported the two missing in January.
A family member of Adriennee Smith said the family was in the area of the Smiths home at the time of the discovery.
Smith’s daughter told the Post she and her mother were in the house on Sunday when a woman came in and told them she had been found.
The woman told them her name was Adriennea Smith, and that she was married and had a 3-year old daughter.
Smith was described as a white, 5-foot-7-inch woman with blond hair.
She had blue eyes and a light complexion.
Her name and age were not released.
The Smiths have two other children, a 6-year and a 9-year.
The Post said the couple’s son had been living in the United States for several months, but did not have a social security number or any information on the children.
